ExcelReport 2.3 is the shareware plug-in software for your Microsoft Excel sheet that allows you to generate reports in various formats like Excel spreadsheet, HTML, XML, Lotus 1-2-3 etc. For generating reports this application uses Excel and SQL statements as the reporting tools. This application can also open Excel report templates and XRF files for report generation and use their layouts and formats in your report. You can also design your own layouts and formats for your report. XRF files contain necessary configurations that allow you to design your report using SQL statements. Salient features of this application are as follows. Using SQL statements you can access various database connected through ODBC to collect the content for your reports. You can also include parameters to your reports using this application. You can give your commands using both Windows GUI and Command line interface. You can also create complex reports and multiple reports in one Excel sheet using this application.

First ExcelReport creates a blank Excel report using Excel report template file, and then executes SQL statements in the XRF file to get data from database, and fills data into the blank Excel report to generate the desired report.
